Forgery Detection in Dynamic Signature Verification by Entailing Principal Component Analysis

چکیده
The critical analysis of the data glove-based signature identification and forgery detection system emphasizes the essentiality of noise-free signals for input. Lucid inputs are expected for the accuracy enhancement and performance. The raw signals that are captured using 14and 5-electrode data gloves for this purpose have a noisy and voluminous nature. Reduction of electrodes may reduce the volume but it may also reduce the efficiency of the system. The principal component analysis (PCA) technique has been used for this purpose to condense the volume and enrich the operational data by noise reduction without affecting the efficiency. The advantage of increased discernment in between the original and forged signatures using 14-electrode glove over 5-electrode glove has been discussed here and proved by experiments with many subjects. Calculation of the sum of mean squares of Euclidean distance has been used to project the advantage of our proposed method. 3.1% and 7.5% of equal error rates for 14 and 5 channels further reiterate the effectiveness of this technique.

Performance evaluation of block-based copy- move image forgery detection algorithms
Copy-move forgery is a particular type of distortion where a part or portions of one image is/are copied to other parts of the same image. This type of manipulation is done to hide a particular part of the image or to copy one or more objects into the same image. There are several methods for detecting copy-move forgery, including block-based and key point-based methods. In this paper, a method...
متن کاملIdentity authentication using improved online signature verification method
We present a system for online handwritten signature verification, approaching the problem as a two-class pattern recognition problem. A test signature s authenticity is established by first aligning it with each reference signature for the claimed user, using dynamic time warping. The distances of the test signature to the nearest, farthest and template reference signatures are normalized by t...

Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) by contrast of other networks have more vulnerability because of having nature properties such as dynamic topology and no infrastructure. Therefore, a considerable challenge for these networks, is a method expansion that to be able to specify anomalies with high accuracy at network dynamic topology alternation. In this paper, two methods proposed for dynamic anom...
متن کاملOff-line Signature Verification Using HMM for Random, Simple and Skilled Forgeries
The problem of signature verification is in theory a pattern recognition task used to discriminate two classes, original and forgery signatures. Even after many efforts in order to develop new verification techniques for static signature verification, the influence of the forgery types has not been extensively studied. This paper reports the contribution to signature verification considering di...
متن کاملSignature Verification and Forgery Detection Hardware Design Employing Fuzzy Inference System
This paper describes the modeling of a signature verification and forgery detection system that allows for efficient hardware implementation. The system follows five steps to perform the signature verification which are data acquisition, preprocessing, comparison process and decision process. Fuzzy inference system is used as the core decision maker for verifying the signature. The design is fo...
